How Do I acquire a Home Care Package?
Check Your Eligibility
To receive a government-subsidised Home Care Package, you must:
✔ Be 65 years or older (50+ for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people).
✔ Need support to continue living independently at home.
Eligibility is assessed through My Aged Care, which determines if you require basic, low, intermediate, or high-level care.

Complete an Assessment
A member of the Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) will visit you at home to assess your care needs and recommend a Home Care Package level.
Receive Your Package and Choose a Provider
