Administration Officer - Sydney

About the Role:

Sydney - The Administrative Officer will provide administrative support to the team by performing various office tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. This role is quite flexible, offering up to 4 hours a day with the possibility of an extra 2 - 3 hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Clearing out our inbox and answering or forwarding queries to the correct location.

  • Process timesheets daily and in preparation for weekly pay runs.

  • Prepare weekly reporting using Excel.

  • Prepare ad-hoc reporting in Excel based on historical data.

  • Liaise with different offices to ensure their queries are met.

  • Beyond Excel, general Microsoft experience is desired. Microsoft Teams experience is extra valuable.

Essential Criteria:

  • Excel experience is a must.

  • High standard of verbal and written communication.

  • A high level of attention to detail and effective time management skills.

  • Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner to manage conflict and performance issues when they arise.

  • Self-organised with high levels of motivation and can work autonomously.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Ability to troubleshoot a variety of problems including technical.

  • Comfortable working in a small team environment and dealing with multiple work requests.

  • Ability to gain the respect and confidence of staff and other organisational contacts.
