About the Role:

Sydney - We present an exciting opportunity for Community Support Workers to assist our clients in Inner West, Sydney & surrounding suburbs.

Role responsibilities:

  • Our clients will require assistance in personal care, domestic assistance, social support, meal preparation, compression stockings, medication prompting etc.

  • Availability between Monday -Sunday from 7am-3pm. 

  • Support clients in our community needing assistance with social support, transport to appointments and community outings.

  • Provide personal care to clients with dignity and respect such as assisting with showering, grooming and dressing.

  • Continue to support clients to live in their own home by providing help with their meal preparation, cleaning and most importantly, companionship.

What we are looking for:

  • A passionate, caring and empathetic personality is a MUST.

  • Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent is a MUST. 

  • Willingness to learn new skills on the job through training.

  • Experience in either disability or community is a MUST.

  • Experience with manual handling not mandatory but IDEAL.

  • A valid driver's license and own vehicle is a MUST.

  • Current First Aid certificate (mandatory) or willing to obtain.

  • Current Police Check (mandatory) or willing to obtain.

  • NDIS Worker screening check or willing to obtain.

  • Working with Children Check or willing to obtain.
