About the Role:

Gatton, Somerset and Lockyer -We present an exciting opportunity for Community Support Workers to assist our clients in the Gatton, Somerset and Lockyer regions of South-East QLD. Immediate start for successful candidates!

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide care with dignity and respect to high-care needs clients requiring assistance in personal care including showering, grooming and dressing, hoist use, and catheter care.

  • Must be competent in manual handling.

  • Varied shifts - before and after school hours Monday - Friday (with possible weekend shifts).

  • Support our clients when needing assistance with social support, transport to appointments and community outings.

  • Continue to support our clients to live in their own home by providing help with their meal preparation, cleaning and most importantly, companionship.

What we are looking for:

  • A passionate, caring and empathetic personality is a MUST.

  • Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent is a MUST. 

  • Willingness to learn new skills on the job through training.

  • Experience in either disability or community is a MUST.

  • Experience with high and complex care is a MUST.

  • A valid driver's license and own vehicle is a MUST.

  • Current First Aid certificate (mandatory) or willing to obtain.

  • Current Police Check (mandatory) or willing to obtain.

  • NDIS Worker screening check or willing to obtain.

  • Working with Children Check or willing to obtain.
