Role Responsibilities:
High-care needs client requiring assistance in personal care, use of hoist, and domestic chores.
Must be competent in manual handling.
Varied shifts - day and over-night during weekdays, must be available between Monday -Friday from 7am-3pm.
Support clients in our community needing assistance with social support, transport to appointments and community outings.
Provide personal care to clients with dignity and respect such as assisting with showering, grooming and dressing.
Continue to support clients to live in their own homes by providing help with their meal preparation, cleaning and, most importantly, companionship.
What we are looking for:
A passionate, caring and empathetic personality is a MUST.
Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent is a MUST.
Willingness to learn new skills on the job through training.
Experience in either aged care or community is highly desirable.
A valid driver's license and own vehicle is a MUST.
Current First Aid certificate (mandatory) or willing to obtain.
Current Police Check (mandatory) or willing to obtain.
NDIS Worker screening check or willing to obtain.
Working with Children Check or willing to obtain.
