Community Support Worker - Parramatta/Nepean

About the Role:

Sydney - Lumia Care company presents an exciting opportunity for passionate Community Support Workers to assist our clients living in the Parramatta/Nepean region with overnight and daytime roles available.

Role responsibilities:

• Support clients in our community needing assistance with social support, transport to appointments, shopping or community outings.

• Provide personal care to clients with dignity and respect such as assisting with showering, grooming and dressing.

• Continue to support clients to live in their own home by providing help with their domestic assistance, meal preparation and most importantly, companionship.

What we are looking for:

• A passionate, caring and empathetic personality is a MUST.

• Willingness to learn new skills on the job through training.

• Residing in the Parramatta or Nepean region.

• Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent is highly desirable, current Nursing students will also be considered.

• Experience in either aged care or community is highly desirable.

• A valid driver's license and own vehicle is a MUST for daytime shifts.

• Current First Aid certificate (mandatory) or willing to obtain.

• Current Police Check (mandatory) or willing to obtain.

• NDIS Worker screening check and Working with Children Check or willing to obtain.
