Community Support Worker - South

About the Role:

South Sydney - We present an exciting opportunity for Community Support Workers to assist our clients in South region (including areas such as Cronulla, Gymea, Sutherland, Illawong etc).

• Wide variety of shifts available from 7am- 8pm Monday to Friday.

Role responsibilities:

• Our clients will require assistance in personal care, domestic assistance, social support, meal preparation, compression stockings, medication prompting, hoist etc.

• Availability between Monday to Friday from 7am - 3pm

• Support clients in our community needing assistance with social support, transport to appointments and community outings.

• Provide personal care to clients with dignity and respect such as assisting with showering, grooming and dressing.

• Continue to support clients to live in their own home by providing help with their meal preparation, cleaning and most importantly, companionship.

What we are looking for:

• A passionate, caring and empathetic personality is a MUST.

• Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent.

• Willingness to learn new skills on the job through training.

• Experience in either disability or community.

• A valid driver's license and own vehicle is a MUST.

• Current First Aid certificate (mandatory) or willing to obtain.

• Current Police Check (mandatory) or willing to obtain.

• NDIS Worker screening check or willing to obtain.

• Working with Children Check or willing to obtain.
