About the Role:

The Short Term Contract Consultant is responsible for maximising short-term contract bookings by efficiently managing the recruitment process. This includes recruiting, managing, and completing short-term contract placements, while overseeing and assisting with the growth of bookings to drive business growth.

Responsibilities of the Short Term Contracts Consultant:

  • Generate consistent bookings within the short term contracts portfolio.

  • Identify business development opportunities both reactive and proactive.

  • Source, follow up and pass on all leads to colleagues on a timely basis.

  • Demonstrate excellent consulting skills by documenting all clients' verbal requests, and questioning clients to clarify needs in order to fulfil client requirements.

  • To build and maintain effective relationships with clients, employees and stakeholders.

  • Ensure all employees are rostered to suitable services as per their qualifications and experience.

  • Establish and update all employee availability into scheduling system.

  • Use database and systems effectively to source candidates for short term contracts.

  • Ensure all services are delivered in a professional, caring and respectful manner.

  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are being adhered to by all employees.

  • To achieve KPIs set by senior management.

  • Undertake other office duties as directed.

  • Maximise shift bookings by effectively managing all aspects of the recruitment process including, but not limited to, staff recruitment, and completion of bookings

  • Oversee the growth of a portfolio(s) to maximise business growth.

Essential Criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience in a '360 recruiting' role.

  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills.

  • A high level of attention to detail and effective time management skills.

  • Demonstrated compassion, sensitivity and cultural awareness.

  • Self-organised with high levels of motivation and can work autonomously.

  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office suite and willingness to learn new programs.

  • Comfortable working in a small team environment and dealing with multiple work requests.
