Business Development Manager - NDIS
About the Role:
Brisbane - Lumia Care are recruiting for a highly active, motivated and results driven Business Development Manager. This lead role will champion Sales and Business Development by actively seeking new business opportunities within NDIS sector, tapping into leads generated by management and workforce coordinators, respond to appropriate tenders, manage a portfolio of existing clients varying between and working in collaboration with the team to steer the company toward exciting growth opportunities for the timely onboarding of new customers.
You will work as a trusted and integral team member reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with internal stakeholders and wider team to ensure current and new clients’ needs are met.

Drive measurable results that succours the business.
Implement an effective sales method that expands the company's current reach
Conduct industry research and expand on current industry familiarity to develop an impressive sales and marketing campaign
Identify and pursue new business leads and progress the through the sales cycle.
Tap into your existing experience coupled with tried and tested financial techniques to improve sales revenue
Introduce the business to new clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales targets
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships with key account contacts, customer stakeholders and related executives. Research and analyse and keep up to date on the market, competitors and potential partners with a view to identifying future opportunities
Working with the company’s Social Media / Marketing Coordinator and contributing to the company’s current marketing plan to attract more customers including reviewing current social media content campaigns, print and client mailout material, engaging influencers as well as staff referral initiatives.
Clearly communicating the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare regular reports on business development results
Provide continuous and constructive feedback to GM
Pitch, train and support the team, particularly client account managers in appropriate nurturing techniques to adopt and maintain for active clients
Be driven by successful outcomes.
Your Attributes:
Experience as a Sales Manager or Business Development Manager
Experience and a broad network of contacts within the QLD Healthcare Sector or Residential Aged Care Sector.
Strong expertise in developing and implementing business and sales growth techniques
Outstanding communication and collaborative interpersonal skills particularly within a team setting
A collaborative attitude, work practices and willingness to participate as a member of a team
Strong self-driven sense of achievement
Individual performer, highly self-motivated and team player
New business focused. Enthusiasm and hunger for new business acquisition and growth potential
