Community Support Worker Expression of interest
About the Role:
As a Community Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to live independently and actively within their community.
You will provide personal care and assistance tailored to each individual’s goals and needs.

Key Responsibilities:
High care needs client requiring assistance in personal care, hoist, manual handling competent, domestic assistance, varied shifts - daytime and potential over-night during weekdays.
Support clients in our community needing assistance with social support, transport to appointments, shopping or community outings.
Provide personal care to clients with dignity and respect such as assisting with showering, grooming and dressing.
Continue to support clients to live in their own home by providing help with their domestic assistance, meal preparation, cleaning and most importantly, companionship.
What we are looking for:
A passionate, caring and empathetic personality is a MUST.
Fluent in English and very clear communicator
Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent is MUST.
Manual Handling MUST
A registered and insured vehicle
A valid full or probationary Australian driver's license
Willingness to learn new skills on the job through training.
Experience in either aged care or community is highly desirable.
Experience with high care clients is highly desirable.
Current First Aid & CPR certificate (mandatory) or willing to obtain.
Current Police Check (mandatory) or willing to obtain.
NDIS Worker screening check or willing to obtain.
Working with Children Check or willing to obtain.
