Community Support Worker - Lilydale & surrounding suburbs

Role responsibilities: 

• High care needs client requiring assistance in personal care, hoist, bowel care, manual handling competent, domestic assistance, varied shifts - weekdays daytime 7am-6pm and weekends. 

• Support clients in our community needing assistance with social support, transport to appointments, shopping or community outings. 

• Provide personal care to clients with dignity and respect such as assisting with showering, grooming and dressing. 

• Continue to support clients to live in their own home by providing help with their domestic assistance, meal preparation, cleaning and most importantly, companionship. 

What we are looking for: 

• A passionate, caring and empathetic personality is a MUST. 

• Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent is a MUST.  

• Willingness to learn new skills on the job through training. 

• Experience in either aged care or community is highly desirable. 

• Experience with high care and dementia clients is highly desirable. 

• A valid driver's license and own vehicle is a MUST. 

• Current First Aid certificate (mandatory) or willing to obtain. 

• Current Police Check (mandatory) or willing to obtain. 

• NDIS Worker screening check or willing to obtain. 

• Working with Children Check or willing to obtain.
