Community Support Worker - Murwillumbah

About the Role:

Murwillumbah, Northern Rivers - We present an exciting opportunity for a Community Support Worker to assist our client in Murwillumbah on Monday & Friday from 6am-11am & 4:30-7:30pm plus one weekend per month (same hours).

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support our client when needing assistance with social support, transport to appointments and community outings.

  • Provide care with dignity and respect assisting with domestic assistance, personal care and complex bowel care.

  • Continue to support clients to live in their own home by providing help with their meal preparation, cleaning and most importantly, companionship.

What we are looking for:

  • A passionate, caring and empathetic personality is a MUST.

  • Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent is a MUST. 

  • Willingness to learn new skills on the job through training.

  • Experience in either disability or community is a MUST.

  • A valid driver's license and own vehicle is a MUST.

  • Current First Aid certificate (mandatory) or willing to obtain.

  • Current Police Check (mandatory) or willing to obtain.

  • NDIS Worker screening check or willing to obtain.

  • Working with Children Check or willing to obtain.
