We’re urgently seeking compassionate individuals to join our growing team across the Illawarra region, including Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama, and surrounding areas.

About the Role:

In this rewarding position, you’ll support elderly clients to remain safe, independent, and connected within their own homes and communities. You’ll play a vital role in enhancing their wellbeing, confidence, and quality of life through meaningful, person-centred care.

Role Type

  • Casual position

  • Flexible weekday shifts (Monday–Friday, approximately 7am–3pm)

  • Minimum availability of 2 days per week

What We’re Looking For

  • A compassionate, empathetic, and caring nature (essential)

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Certificate III or IV in Community, Aged Care, Disability (highly desirable)

  • Nursing students are encouraged to apply

  • Previous experience in community aged care (preferred)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist clients to live independently in their own homes

  • Provide companionship and meaningful social support

  • Support with transport, shopping, and community activities

  • Deliver personal care with dignity and respect

  • Assist with light domestic duties and meal preparation

Mandatory Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle

  • Current (or willingness to obtain):

  • First Aid & CPR certification

  • Police Check

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check

  • Working With Children Check
