The Operations Manager is responsible for leading the operations team to optimise our delivery and quality of care to our patients.

This role would be a good steppingstone for Team Leaders within Nursing.

Role Type:

Full Time

Responsibilities includes:

  •  To provide leadership over all aspects of the Lumia Care Referral Pathway that are consistent with the Governance Framework.

  • Assist all services to close identified gaps in processes and procedures by mentoring, educating, monitoring and managing progress on agreed improvement projects and opportunities.

  •  Ensure continuous improvement opportunities are identified and promoted

  •  To provide assistance, education, mentoring and support to Team Leaders through regular meetings and general guidance.

  • Conduct performance management and periodic review of performance

  • To actively control relevant dashboards and promote team adherence to organisational Policies and Procedures.

  • To develop reports and dashboards to control the flow and quality of information from operations to other departments within Lumia to minimise human error and ensure data integrity.

  • To review and resolve escalated Incidents recorded on the Incident Register with the involvement of regular stakeholders

Essential Criteria:

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • High level of experience in managing aspects of operations and staff within an acute and primary health settings. 

  • Practical organisational skills with attention to detail and 

  • High standard of verbal and written communication

  • Practical organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to delegate and prioritise competing demands.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
